You may know that Luxembourg’s biggest hydropower plant is located at the ‘Stauséi’ near Esch-sur-Sûre. But do you know about one of Luxembourg’s smallest water wheels?

During the summer, we had the opportunity to meet Denis and Pit. Together, we tested their small portable waterwheel in action. Afterwards, we conducted a small interview with them about their project.

We talked about why they built their own water wheel, what materials they used to build it, and what role electricity from hydropower plants plays in Luxembourg.

Further information about the water wheel can be found here.
