Let's go to COP28!
How to take part
COP28, the next big UN Climate Conference will run from Nov 30th – Dec 12th 2023 in Dubai. Up to 50.000 delegates are coming together to discuss our common futures on this planet. This is a great chance to ask them the most pressing questions from a youth perspective!
Youth4planet is organizing a daily broadcast with a team of young reporters, scientists, moderators in Dubai.
Every day will have another topic, that will be announced well in advance.
A German journalism university has offered to support us with an editorial team. They will aggregate the questions of the young voices and run a social media blog. This is free!
Climate Action Dialogue
Why the Climate Action Dialogue?
Youth4planet has the mission to empower young people to take action for their futures. With every climate conference, the call for concrete action becomes louder and clearer. The climate action dialogue takes COP to the people who develop ideas for action. In schools and universities, students and teachers set up circles of creativity and debate. Climate action teams become innovators and change makers in everyday school life. Students, parents and the communities have fun in developing new stories across boundaries and cultures together. Enthusiasm is replacing depression and anger.
The CreatiVelo learning and action bikes are joyfully connecting the different circles of innovation. Is this just a blindfolded vision? With your active support and participation this may become reality during and after COP28 already. You are invited to develop the most extraordinary questions. The Youth4planet reporter team will then find the best available COP delegates to give relevant answers. Our broadcast will deliver them to your school community, live, every day during COP (Nov. 30 – Dec 12). Film, Art, Music will become the main ingredients of an inspiring exchange.
How will we do it?

- Livestream program daily from COP28, to youth locally and globally.
- Ideas generator and curation to support youth ideas and inspire action teams.
- Touring CreatiVelo media bike engaging Dubai students with youth reporters inside COP28
- Youth race4good with Linda Cruse connecting schools and ideas from the utmost remote areas, with a daily 2 hour show.
- COP28 Youth Song ‘Guinness Book of Records’ on Day for Youth.
Join the youth choir at COP28
Register your youth choir to sing in the Global Youth Choir for COP28 with Youth4Planet. This is the first Global Youth Choir from seven continents assembled for Climate action! To support the voice of youth and bring all voices from around the world together at COP28, Youth4planet with Discover Your Voice invites all youth choirs around the world to perform this amazing song written by One Gener8ion – “All of Us”, led by Global Choir Director Corinne Gibbons. We all need a new “We are the World” anthem, and this is it for youth around climate change.
