Every two years, Eurosolar Luxembourg awards prizes for the best projects related to the energy transition. There are several categories ranging from energy production to citizen participation. More information about this prize can be found on the Eurosolar Luxembourg website.
But we weren’t there to receive a prize; we were there to gain inspiration and insights from different changemakers. During this evening, we even had the privilege of capturing some interviews for you with the President of Eurosolar Luxembourg, Paul Zens; the former Minister of Energy and Spatial Planning, Claude Turmes; and the renowned professor of renewable energies, Prof. Dr. Volker Quaschning.
With the President of Eurosolar Luxembourg, we discussed climate change and the importance of renewable energies. This interview can be found here.
Prof. Dr. Volker Quaschning explained why we need an energy revolution #NOW, the entire interview can be found here.
He also held a lecture on energy transition and climate change during the prize ceremony; a similar lecture from him can be found here (in German).
Claude Turmes, the former Minister for Energy and Spatial Planning of Luxembourg, explained how Luxembourg is tackling the energy revolution. This interview is available here.
