Zeitfilm, Youth Climate Action Dialogue and Youth4Planet, with co-founders Joerg Altekruse and Liz Courtney, under the patronage of The Ministry of Environment and Climate State of Luxembourg, is driving a new initiative to give youth a voice at COP28. One of the programmes includes „The Global Youth Polar Race4Good“ with moderator and founder Linda Cruse.
The Race4Good connects student communities around the globe to the COP events as part of the Youth Climate Action Dialogue – let’s get going, let’s do, let’s have impact in our communities.
Race4Good: two hours of daily broadcast during COP28, live from Dubai. Connecting Dubai / COP with students from the most remote parts of the world.
Key is the direct involvement of schools in developing good questions, the youth reporters in Dubai and the direct broadcast into classrooms is giving more of a push.
All is geared up for direct local action with the mindset of global collaboration. The solar powered CreatiVelo media bike will be placed in the center of COP28 for interviews and as a symbol for connecting local and global communities.
The Australian songwriter Corinne Gibbons is gearing up „It takes all of us to heal the planet“ for a global rollout to choirs in October in preparation for the COP28 Climate Action Dialogue.
