Earthbeat held a film challenge to reduce natural hazards. The first call for films had low entries, so they asked for grassroots-level stories instead. A judging panel chose six best ideas and supported the teams to create short videos. Earthbeat gave a small bursary to each team and provided filmmaking tips and online group chats. The challenge received 62 submissions, and six short resilience films were produced.
