A Symphony of Hope
From the bustling streets of New York to the silent landscapes of Antarctica, a symphony is forming. Not just any symphony, but a harmonious blend of youthful voices echoing from every corner of the globe. This is the Global Youth Choir for COP28, a grand stage where each voice adds a unique note to the ensemble. The rhythm they follow is of hope, passion, and a commitment to a better, greener future.

The Maestro: Corinne Gibbons
Corinne Gibbons, the renowned Global Choir Director, orchestrates this extraordinary gathering. With a rich history collaborating with music legends like Phil Collins and Jack Sonni from Dire Straits, she’s now leading this global choir in what could be one of the most impactful performances.
Corinne’s journey in music has been as diverse as it has been remarkable. From sharing the stage with Australian Jazz legends Don Burrows and George Golla at a young age to recording with Tower Of Power, she has left her mark in various music genres. Her trailblazing album of healing, Melt, made in collaboration with National Geographic, has won numerous awards, including a World Peace Award (UK) and two World & Nature film awards (USA).
But perhaps what stands out the most about Corinne is her unwavering commitment to environmental awareness and children’s creative education. Through her Search for the Sparkle program, she has engaged thousands of children globally, helping them find their voice and keep songwriting journals of their childhoods.
The Song that Unites
The song “All of Us“ symbolises unity and resonates with the call for climate action. Co-written by Corinne Gibbons and One Gener8ion, this catchy rap beat anthem serves as a rallying cry for collective action against climate change.
It’s gonna take all of us to heal this world it’s gonna take all of us to make a change all of us can heal this world it’s gonna take all of us to make a change!
– Chorus from the song “All of Us“
Your Part in the Melody
Every youth choir across the globe is invited to contribute their version of this anthem by Friday 1st December 2023. Choir leaders receive an instructions kit with all the necessities – a video welcome from Corinne Gibbons herself, a guide on how to record the track, the song sheet, and orchestrated music sheet.
Rehearsals begin. The choir divides into groups: sopranos, altos, tenors. Each group takes ownership of their verse; the unity during the chorus symbolises their shared commitment to climate action.
We have everything we need to heal the world right now believe believe we have the ultimate power, small children’s voices hear them loud and clear, feelin ’the love they don’t know fear, let’s embrace what we’re all born with
– Part of the verse
Sharing the Anthem
Once the recording is done, it’s time to share it with the world. Each choir uploads their video onto YouTube and shares it on social media with hashtags like #youth4planet #youthclimatechoir #youthchoircop28 #youthchoir. The song spreads like a melody carried by the wind – reaching other schools, other towns, other countries.
The Grand Finale
As we approach December 8th, 2023 – the day when all these voices will unite in an epic performance at COP28 – anticipation builds. Young voices have spoken (or rather sung), their message for climate action resonating across the globe.
So, here’s your invitation. Add your unique voice to this harmonious revolution for climate change awareness and action. Register your choir, rehearse your parts, and let your voice be heard. After all, it’s going to take “All of Us“ to heal this world. Be a part of this grand chorus and make history!
