Si gefaangen
Music video, Luxemburg 2025

The project
The song and music video “Si gefaangen” were created in October 2025 during a rap and film workshop on the topic of sustainable digitalization. The workshop was led by Jan Holler at the Norden youth center in Troisvierges, Luxembourg.
The participants, who are regular visitors to the youth center and between 12 and 25 years old, came together on three afternoons after school, apprenticeship, or work.

Si gefangen Si gefangen
Si gefangen Si gefangenAfter a brief presentation by a representative from the Nature Parks of Luxembourg, the young people discussed the negative effects of increasing digitalization on the (social) climate. Afterwards, they came up with ideas on how to best reach and raise awareness among their peers about this topic. One group decided to write a song; others developed a story as well as a short dance choreography.
From Concept to Collaboration in Twelve Hours
The biggest challenge of the project was that, due to the limited time available, the song and the filming for the music video had to be created in parallel. Based on the storytelling principle (“and – but – therefore”), the main content of the song was first defined. Building on this, the film and dance groups were able to develop their scenes, while the rap group wrote lyrics and made recordings in the studio.
With this approach, within just twelve hours, all the separate contributions came together to create the material for the music video – and everyone involved was able to showcase their individual talents in the best possible way.
