About youth4planet
Youth4Planet is a non-profit organisation working at the intersection of sustainability education and creative media. We design and run participatory workshops and projects that help young people engage with major environmental and social challenges – and express their responses through film, storytelling, and other digital tools.

Founded in Hamburg in 2015, Youth4Planet has been active in Luxembourg since 2018, where its main chapter operates under the patronage of the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity. Luxembourg is where the organisation’s core educational work takes place – in schools, youth centres, and public spaces across the country.
The organisation also maintains an international dimension, with a presence at UN Climate Conferences and connections to partner organisations and initiatives worldwide.

Our Mission
We believe young people are not just the future – they are capable actors of change right now. Our role is to give them the skills, the space, and the tools to make their voices heard on the issues that matter most.
Everything we do is grounded in the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals and built around a core conviction: that creativity and critical thinking, not passive learning, are what move people to act.

How we work
We work with young people, educators, and communities to explore environmental and social challenges through creative and participatory methods.
Film and digital media are our primary tools – but the work takes many forms: workshops in schools, public installations, community activations, collaborations, and events in public space.

Whatever the format, the goal is the same: to give people the skills and the space to engage with the issues that matter, and to turn that engagement into something concrete and shareable.
